The CVC sought the declaration of BIC for the musical activity of band music in the Region.
The full Consell Valencia de Cultura (CVC), met Monday in regular session in Ontinyent (Valencia), approved the report which asks the government may be declared a Site of Cultural Interest (BIC) performed traditional musical activity by the musical societies of the Comunitat Valenciana.
The advisory institution, in a statement, the petition argues the importance of musical activity as a "major, eve isk for sale, factor structuring cultural and civic because it stimulates the study of music, using musical instruments and the subsequent intervention in all type of popular events, generating a major contribution to culture throughout our territory, "as reflected in the document.
Also, the CVC believes that the declaration of BIC should involve the adoption of measures for the promotion, STO gold, of musical activities by institutions, as well as devise concrete measures and regulatory reforms that would achieve benefits to entities related to music.
For the realization of the writing has received a document that provides the member of CVC, the musician Enrique Garcia Asensio, which highlights the importance of music in the formation of Valencia youth.

Forest fires
During the plenary session, the chairman of CVC, Santiago Grisolia, lamented again the fire that occurred in Ontinyent, why has met fully in the municipality.

Finally, Santiago Grisolia recalled the "great intellectual and personal worth" of Supreme Court justice, Vicente Montes, who died in 2009. Montes, born in Ontinyent, was a member of CVC from 1990 to 1995.
