UNIFIL donates 39 vehicles to the Lebanese army jeep.
Beirut, August 25 .- The UN Interim Force in southern Lebanon (UNIFIL) today donated 39 vehicles to Lebanese Army jeep, reported a statement for this quota.
Vehicles, second hand but good condition, were delivered in Nakura, southern Lebanon and the seat of the headquarters of UNIFIL.
This is the second donation of this kind does UNIFIL to the Lebanese Armed Forces after they were delivered, tera gold, last April another 34 vehicles.
The head of UNIFIL, General Alberto Asarta, reiterated his commitment to work closely with the Lebanese Army to restore lasting peace in the south of the country, according to the note.

That resolution of the Security Council UN ended the 2006 war between the Lebanese Shiite group Hezbollah and Israel.
Last night, Hizbullah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah asked the Government of Iran Beirut to request military aid to the Lebanese army, after the U.S. suspended the 100 million dollars of military assistance to Lebanon.
