Maria and Jose are the names most often repeated among residents in the province of Valencia, with 40 676 and 53 347 cases, respectively. This means that there are 31.3 'Marias' by Valencia in 1000 and 41.8 'Joses' for every thousand residents of the city of Valencia.
For behind these names are found in the female case, Maria Carmen (28 cases per 1000 in Valencia), Carmen, ffxiv gil, (24.3), Josefa (19.1), Amparo (18.4), Maria Dolores and Jose Maria (14.5 in both cases) and Isabel (13.6), according to the National Institute of Statistics (INE) relating to 2009, surveyed by Europa Press.
