Police prevented the lynching of a young man who beheaded with an ax to octogenarian.
Bogota, July 30 .- A young Colombian, 21 years, was saved from death by an angry mob lynched by police after being accused of beheading with an ax to an octogenarian in the town of Falan, department of Tolima ( center), judicial sources said.
The boy, identified as Michael Isaias Poveda Bolivar, the sources said, is "homicidal course Hernando Enrique Avila, 85,, tera gold, who was beheaded last Wednesday when he was on a farm in the municipality" (Falan).
Poveda Bolivar "was apprehended by police officers on the sidewalk Mondeco, Palocabildo Township, who prevented the villagers lynched him," said a statement from the Justice Department.
The young dndant was detained in a jail in the town of Honda, also in the department of Tolima.
