Teruel Museum opens an exhibition with some of the works of the painter's legacy Alejandro Canada.
The above donation is made in pursuance of the desire of Canada Alejandro Valle (Oliete (Teruel), 1908-Zaragoza, 1999) that the above collection is not dispersed and was preserved and exhibited at the Museum of Teruel. All this in appreciation for the painting that Grant Diputacion de Teruel (DPT) gave her in her youth. Aid which allowed him to prepare and, tera gold, enter the School of Fine Arts of San Fernando in Madrid.
The works are now exposed belong to the series called 'Close-ups of the twentieth century' and comprises 35 oil paintings on wood panel representing, in a free, great personalities of the last century such as Picasso, Gaudi, Ortega y Gasset Henry Moore, among others. They all have a format of 100, darkfall gold, x 100 cm and were made on between the years 1970 and 1975.
Pictorial legacy
With the organization of this exposition, la Diputacin Provincial de Teruel is fulfilling one of the requirements for the donation of works of Alejandro Canada, whose creative output has become part of the art collections of the Museum of Teruel. In, Star Trek Gold, addition, this temporary exhibition allows the public to make known the contents of the notorious visit pictorial legacy.
Canada Alexander Valley is a landmark in the Aragonese art, not only for its recognition as a painter but by the teaching that took place throughout his life and served to train other valuable Aragonese contemporary artists. He received, among his many distinctions, the Cross of St. George of the DPT.
Alejandro Canada was a leading muralist, murals by Zaragoza Airport, working as an engraver etching with a refined line and thematic diversity. As a painter can make different times within a long artistic career.
To this must be added the formative work done since he founded the Canada Study in Zaragoza in 1945 and served to teach other valuable Aragonese contemporary artists. A teaching task that has continued in her daughter Maria Angeles Canada, also artist like her other daughter, Natividad.
